Messsed with the bioses, constant voltage, disabling upls, with multiple programs, and with restarts and nothing. Still whines.

There's an insane amount of coil whine. Like, unbearable. However, in MSI AB if I force constant voltage, I notice that the coil while completely goes away. Anyone else experience this?

Also, the LED's on the blackplate flicker a bit and turn on and off. After doing some research I came across a few people saying that all the LED's light up when under load, and while idling only a few are lit up. Is that normal as well?

Also wanted to know if these GPU-Z screenshots seem normal:
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

The first one shows a 384bit BUS width and 268.8GB bandwidth while the second one shows 32bit BUS width and 22.4GB bandwidth. Is that normal?

Thanks for the help guys :thumb

...running two Gigabyte 7990s v2 'Malta' (under water)...have been lucky I guess > no coil whine

- if you disable ULPS (the ultra low power state that idles the 2nd GPU per card), the green LED on mine goes off completely, and also the GPUz will now read 384 bit bus for all GPUs

- MSI AB 1.3v good enough (w/water cooling) for just over 1200-1220 MHz GPU (depending on app) for all 4 GPUs, and more w/custom Bios tool (check VBE @ TPU)

- ...and have some fun w/your 7990 smile.gif > http://www.overclock.net/t/1430568/ggpu-battlefield-4-beta-benchmarked#post_20901288
