hi

So when i first installed the watercooler, the software corsairlink2 detected the two fans and the temp and the pump speed. few days later it doesn't show up anymore in the corsairlink2. i am not sure what i did to cause this. i remember i did some overclocked and and load some saved bios setting in the bios. i have a msi p67a gd65. i connected the watercooler usb to the bottom red 'JUSB' header it worked and detected when i installed it my first time. but now it show up as an unknown device in device manager and code 43, mean something wrong with the device and it got disabled.

i wonder if there is some setting in the bios of the mobo that causing this?

is the mini usb connected to the waterblock is an universal mini usb that i can purchase at radioshack? i want to test it with a mini usb on one end and regular usb connector to connect to the back of the motherboard.

please help.. thanks..

the temperature look fine and the last time i set the fans speed to quiet mode, luckily it doesn't make so much noise as balanced mode ..smile.gif

Well.. you could try a couple of things here.

-Reset BIOS settings to default, see if that helps.

-Install the latest drivers: http://www.corsair.com/us/hydro-series-h80i-high-performance-liquid-cpu-cooler.html

So your problem started after installing those new drivers? Have you tried system restore?

I'd try resetting the BIOS as well.

I'd request an RMA from Corsair.. the unit seems like it's defective, if it's still showing errors on another motherboard.
