Ati driver issue or MSI 7790 faulty?

Hi all,
I just got the MSI HD7790, and swapped the Gigabyte GTX 650 1 GB I had on my HTPC, thinking to give it a bit more power.
The GTX 650 since I have installed, no issue whatsoever, worked perfect for what I am doing, (not gaming much). Drivers installed perfectly, no freezing or other issues...
Being 64w card, the temps, idle 25 and while watching online TV, full screen, (32inch TV), max 30. Gaming, I tried under Crysis, not 3, and were 45-50 degrees. The fan is quite enough.
Now the MSI 7790, looks better, more powerful, also the heat sink is better, it has a few more W,(85W).
The temps idle, around 30, watching on line TV, around 43 degrees.
I removed the NVidia drivers, and installed the latest Ati drivers for this card. I had a few clinches, but finally worked OK.
The MSI 7790 it is working fine as far as I do not touch/open any program, GPU test program. Tried the latest beta driver, but I had to uninstall it, it would not run the Crysis game at all, crashed after a few seconds.
For instance, if I watch you-tube or any kind of video, online and while watching opening the GPU-Z or AIDA64, hw64, the PC is freezing and I have to reset it to restart. WHY?
Under GTX 650, I have no issue of PC freezing or stop responding while opening mentioned test programs.
I have two HDDs, one 2.5/500 have Windows 7 installed and other one 3.5/320GB Windows 8 Pro installed. I use F12 to chose which one I need to boot from..
Has anyone any idea what is wrong, it is the driver issue?
Thanks
HTPC

I removed/uninstalled the Ati driver and used the Microsoft basic display adapter instead, amazingly it worked like a charm, no freezing of PC at all. I watched different video clips online, at the same time opened the test programs I use, GPU-Z, AIDA64....it worked.
The Ati driver is the cause.
Sorry Ati developers, it seems that this is part time job for you, developing working drivers for Ati cards!
I am going to remove the MSI 7790 and will get back to GTX 650. I never had any issues with NVidia drivers, whatever program I tried to use, never had any issue.
