Hello I'm not sure where to post this but i hope someone has a answer with some solid evidence and no speculations or fanboyism on this matter.
I have a relatively new computer with amd 8120 clocked @ 4.4ghz and i just bought the 770 zotac edition, my question is following will this bottleneck my new card?

Thanks for the answer, would i benefit anything noticable going for 4.4ghz to 4.6ghz?

that depends on the game: Warning:Buttload of Benchmarks! (Click to show)

if it seems good enough, do not worry. if you think you need more than give it a try. but there are some games where you get to a point where it won't matter.

It's not the same cpu as i have but i get the idea of it, going to 4.6 from 4.4 would really just yield another 2-5 frames as i see it, i could be wrong.

Thanks for the replies thread can rest in peace

Sometimes that extra little bit of OC isn't worth the electric being used.

But if you can get to 4.6ghz comfortably, and stable - then its your decision and most of us do like to get that little extra thumb.gif
