Bluescreen :'(

Hi guys

Like the title huh?
I've done some research on Google. Some say it's the RAM. Which I tested with memtest-86. I undid my overclock. I've formatted and got a new HDD.

Here is my problem and I got it twice today, while running F@H, browsing on FireFox, Messenger open and XFire open and playing music with Winamp.
Sorry for the blurryness.

It did the same about a week ago. And I ran nothing other than those things I listed above. It started happening alot 2 months ago. Then I formatted about a month ago. Two weeks ago it did it. A week ago and now twice today.

If anyone has a solution to this I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks in advance.

Uh it's weird that the problem file is win32k.sys because it is a system file. Now I am not sure if a hardware problem could trigger this problems to this file, but ya, updating chipset drivers, motherboard and all should be good. But of course, it canno't be an installation problem since you are running on a fresh install. Make sure in BIOS that you are running on defaults settings, make sure that Vcores are correct along with memory timings and speed. Because keep in mind that BIOS' default isn't always working, sometimes, you need to manually adjust settings.

PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

Anyone ACTUALLY READ THE PROBLEM?

Simply nuke ur page file on your harddrives, reboot once, mb twice if you want to for the hell of it.

Then defrag/etc.

Then afterwards, remake the page files OR SINGULAR file. But smaller, say 500mb to start! And see what happens.

*To change page files*

Start menu,

RIGHT CLICK >>> on my computer

SELECT PROPERTIES

Welcome to system properties

Look for advanced (usually bottom right Tab AT TOP ROWS).

Under the PERFORMANCE section, look for SETTINGS, click it

And again, we look 4 advanced, damn this is getting so hard :O (jk)

Look for VIRTUAL MEMORY

"a paging file is an area on the harddisk etc blah blah blah*

Total paging file on all drives = #### whatever it is.

Click CHANGE

Now you will see your harddrive, or multiple harddrives.

Usually C: has a page file of a 768 - 1560 (example) where it's SYSTEM MANAGED SIZE

Now this is where you select NO PAGING FILE >>>> "click SET (just to the right) *.

THEN CLICK OK.

Click ok ALOT to close all the windows

Now SHUT DOWN COMPUTER.

Go take a leak or get a drink or whatever, come back. (approx time to let it cool, chill, whatever).

Then boot the system.

Then shut down once more, boot again, and go into the steps I gave you, and re set the VIRTUAL PAGING FILE MEMORY to... 2.5 x (two point five times) your TOTAL ram.

Example, 1gb of ram, do 2560-2560 (custom size).

If 512mb, 1280-1280.

If 2gb, 4096 max's it. So that works to. (2x)

This should clear it up.

If not, mention again if it did/didn't work

(Btw, this won't f* up ur system, it'll just refresh the page file literally, nuking it first, then making it brand new).
