GA-965P-DS3 F8 Bios Update

arrived

gonna test now and see if any improvements
don't have list of what updated

enjoy

from what i found in the first 10 minuets after the update that the system is highly unstable reboots after system restart no over clock stable for now i stick with the f7

From what I've read, and done myself, Floppy bios flash method works best.

I first reset the F7 bios to "fail-safe settings". Re-start to windows make sure everything is working, then use the bios utility via a floppy to flash the F8 bios.
Re-boot to windows, make sure all is ok, then over clock as you like. Everything was smooth. I've heard some had to totally clear out bios by shorting pins on MB.

I think most people are having problems flashing over on top of an overclocked F7 or earlier without first resetting to default normal bios settings.

ok tanks for the info ill go try now and see if it works with default setting because i did flashed on over clocked system and i don't have floppy lol

btw any1 knows what the hpet -32/64bit options do?
