I think Windows got corrupted--in safe mode it stalls at mup.sys. Three times now I have tried to load it and it always stalls at the black XP screen.

Gonna reload and see what happens then.

The 300 second delay is starting to make this a really long process.....everytime the 'puter freeze I have to shut it down manually which also shuts down the phase unit.

Dude you should take a break for a FULL DAY, I do alot of custom projects and used to do alot of custom fuel injection systems for cars and I often found that when things werent going good if I took a full day to gather thoughts i could sort things out a little easier every time.

You need to learn how to circle. Circle and look for a place to land. that way you can be at work all day and not get a thing done... I usually do most of regrouping and gathering of thought as I toss and turn in bed...LOL If i know what I am onto the next day then I can form a plan the night before.

I admit I have been pushing hard--it's how I do it. Seems obvious that you need to seal off the cold from the air or get ice...hindsight being 20/20 and all.

I really like that Abit board. i was waiting for the Fatal1ty AW9D-Max version to come out--but it did not, despite the leaked board to the reviewers. Oh well...

Nope--I am installing on 2 Seagat 7200.10 160 GB SATA in RAID 0

EDIT: Still having issues. I reinstalled Windows and ran it at stock speed DLed stress tests and benches and they run fine--ran memtest--fine--but then when I set the clock up to 257 x 10 HT x3 and DDR333 it froze at the black XP screen again. Gonns call this mobo/CPU another loss. Good for stopck speed but unable to OC even a little.

Really losing my taste for this activity. As suggested I need a break.

It's time to wrap Xmas gifts!
