indicator-cpureq and laptop-mode conflicting profiles

Thread Starter
Hello Overclockers,

I am having a small issue when my laptop boots I want it to boot into powersave mode... and it does. But when indicator-cpufreq loads it loads the ondemand profile. Is their a way to tell the cpufreq to not change it by default or do I just have to deal with this? I can't seem to find anything online about this.

Thanks in advance

Nick

I'd like to know if there's a fix to this as well. I also have to run my script for enabling powersave twice to make it stick. I do remember though that there was some discussion that believed that ondemand was better for the battery overall but I'm not sure.
