Cooler or new CPU first?

Thread Starter
I have wanted the 8320 since day one, but I also need a new cooler. At the moment, I have a crappy 40 dollar cooler (See rig below) and I might just throw the thing away, and I have the money for a brand spanking new cooler (I wanted an H60 or H80), or I could wait and buy the new cpu, and then wait even longer and just use the crappy cooler?
tl;dr: Should I buy a new cooler first, or should I buy a new cpu first and then a cooler?

CPU first. If you get a new cooler get one with a smooth polished base.

So, I know you don't seem to like that cooler, but to be honest, that cooler of yours is not "crap". It might not be the latest and greatest, but it is decent.

With that in mind, go for the CPU first.

CPU first. I won't be surprised if the FX 4100 is holding back your 6970.

Get the cpu first. It would be a much better upgrade.
