GTX Titan Boost Clock Question.

Thread Starter
Hey guys!

While playing a game today I decided to keep Precision X open on the side so I could observe the clocks of my Titan. (Note that it's factory clocked, everything stock) That rhymes.

I am by no means an overclock expert, or even that knowledgeable in regards to clock speeds, or how GPU Boost 2.0 works.

Take note of the White and Grey arrows. (White: Base Clock, Grey: Boost Clock)

However, while gaming, the clock speed goes beyond the boost clock. It goes over 1000Mhz, while the boost clock is listed as 876Mhz.

Should this be happening?

876Mhz is the guaranteed boost clock for all stock Titans, but it can boost higher depending on the quality of the individual chip.
