well, one could just call logitech, telling them his G400 has a broken cable or something and they would send him a new one after he gave them the serialnumber.

what do you think if I only use 400/450 dpi and 500hz, it is better to get Kana v1 or v2?

also prefer the glossy one bcuz off sweaty palm

Is this a joke? The g400 lift of distance is so minuscule on my black, hard mouse pad, that adding any tape would probably make it stop tracking at all.

Not every single unit will have the same LOD. That would take a lot of QC. Also not all black pads have the same surface attributes -- my LOD on a black plastic pad is very low, whereas my LOD on a black cloth is very high. People even say the Hayate gives them lower LOD even though it is black.

Sry for offtopic guys. Hey roach do you think that setting a game to run in a high priority will cause additional mouse lag?

I highly doubt it would have any effect one way or the other. I've seen people claim that adjusting core parking settings does, but I didn't notice anything when I fiddled with it. I don't use hyperthreading either, so....

If you believe you have everything set properly and still have weird mouse response, you should go into the BIOS and load defaults, then click save and exit, then go back in BIOS and redo all your settings and save + quit. Many BIOS I have tested will allocate resources like IRQ in different ways each time you redo the settings from scratch, then after redoing them, you'll notice your mouse will behave slightly different, even when using the exact same settings (assuming you had all the right ones chosen in the first place).

I don't even overclockmy 2500k (even though it does 4.5ghz easy) and use it at 3.3ghz with no turbo boost to avoid any weird variables and have more consistency in response.

The Kana v2 has all the certifications already, no? That would mean in 2-8 weeks we will hear about or see the mouse elsewhere?

They stopped giving away free mice. I had to send my G400 back for replacement.
