thanks in advance.

just received my kana v2
I must that it's way way better than the V1!
weight and sensor are perfects. 400dpi is ok, 1600 too, and switches are amazing.
LOD doesnt bother me, I didn't notice it while playing (CS & sc2).

it s been a long time I didnt feel so confortable with a mouse.

I can't speak for higher sensitivities or dpi, but I play at 400 cpi/dpi and this mouse is ******* incredible. I've had a mx518, ms 3.0, da 3.5g, and this mouse is margins better. I played 2 games of csgo at leg eagle, and was was topping the scoreboard both times. It is on point I have zero complaints. At first I was nervous from all the **** I read on this thread about the LOD, plastic quality, sensor, side buttons, the bugs, the skates, whatever and nothing seems to match the complaints. I just don't think these people have the mouse and are talking out of their ass. The only problem was I had to download the old steel series driver because it didnt register the new one.

I had the same ridiculous shipping date. Is it from Japan too? I was given the option to pay a little more for faster shipping and it breaks it down from like 2 months to 3 days. You should check that. You'll love the mouse. Nice bugeyes btw.

That's the difficult thing on these forums, everyone wants something very specific in his mouse and criticises every mouse that does not have that exact feature. You always have to try for yourself, the only input that you need is the sensor performance, everything else comes down to preference.
I just can't live with the Kana sidebuttons unfortunately (got the V1), otherwise the V2 would have been on my buy list easily.

What is it about the sidebuttons that you don't like?

I had a little trouble gripping the kana v2 since I had to have my thumb and fingers at the base under the sidebuttons.
I usually grip my mice abit higher up so It felt quite strange to have to grip em close to the base.

When holding the mouse comfortably I would constantly click the right sidebutton with my pinky and occasionally the left one with my thumb, especially while swiping. Guess my thumb is too big for it.

Well It's the same problem alot of people had with Intellimouse 1.1, including me.
You need to hold it in a specific way. All fingers under the sidebuttons, which might be uncomfortable for some for sure.

I hold my thumb and pinky under the sidebuttons quite close to the front of the buttons.
And resting my ringfinger at the outside of M2

I'm using my kana v1 atm to see If I can get used to it before I buy v2.

I just really want a decent sensor ambidextrous smaller mouse atm, and zowie is out of the question.

I love my savu in all ways except the shape, I really prefer a ambidextrous mouse.
Other then that the savu size is perfect.
