I have a little question about switches, in old kana and kinzu v2 they work's a little bit hard. That was fixed by new Omron switches ?
Thanks in advance for response.

they're a LOT softer than the V1. i have V1 at work and V2 at home, the difference is pretty big.

hi guys,

does the Kana v2 work issuelessly as plug-and-play (without installing any software or drivers)?
the native (and default) dpi steps are 800 and 1600, right? and default polling rate is 1000hz?

i'm interested in buying one, but just can't be bothered with any drivers or software :/

Yes it works flawlessly. The default CPI steps when plugging in is 800/1600 @1000Hz. smile.gif

I used the software and updated the mouse firmware when I got the mouse but removed it afterwards. You can set up two profiles and those will be saved in the mouse hardware. Hitting the DPI change button toggles between the two profiles. This works fine without the software.

I set profile #2 to 800 DPI with the mouse wheel light off, and profile #1 to 400 DPI with the mouse wheel light on. What's a bit strange is that the mouse will start up with what's programmed for profile #2.

There's a tiny bug with regards to the mouse wheel light intensity. Without software it can only be completely off or on, the brightness levels don't work.
