If I remember correctly the diameter I used was 3.4mm. I did not used a drill for the cable holes, I had used laser cutting machine to do the job. A lot more precise and time saving.

Your pumps seem to be pulling water from each other. Both are connected to the inlet port when you should be running them in serial. Outlet from one, inlet in the other. I hope you haven't fired up your computer! Poor pumps.
