At your resolution the Radeon 7870 will be around 8fps faster than the Gtx 660.

see here , if i buy gtx 660 i dont need to buy a new psu and i can invest my money either on new motherboard or ssd , else if i buy 7870hd ill have to buy a new psu as my psu only have 1x6pin and 7870requires 2 of them so which is the best choice according to u?

Get the 7870 and PSU. Overclocking doesn't provide anything like the gameplay benefits of a better graphics card.

The 7870. You can use a molex to 6 pin converter. so you already have a 6 pin connector. Now you need 1 more. Buy this-http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812200106 or http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812887001
Connect it to your PSU and then to your gpu smile.gif

He won't need a new PSU if he gets the molex to 6 pin converter.

Just don't overclock anything and it will be fine. Get the gpu and then later think of a psu upgrade. Otherwise if you want you can make a new thread stating your problem in the PSU section smile.gif
