So its safe to assume you still havnt tested any other games yet....?...Drivers crashing and recovery does happen, and not just while playing games, you need to test other games on your system....

I have here 2 GTX 780 SLI, i only tested at Payday 2 game till now, i can play for hours without a problem, and then it starts, if i close the game and start again no issues, or if i use 3dmark no issues either

The cards are EVGA SC Edition

Thanks

damnit! i wish i saw this thread a while ago
i have the exact same cards, the exact same problem in the exact same game.
weird artifact looking stuff in payday 2 at random times

alt tab out and back in, and they're gone.

no problems in any other game, no overclock, multiple drivers. It's Payday 2, not your hardware. (i don't think, anyway)

EDIT: also should mention, temps are fine too, very, very low - GPU usage is also really low, the cards barely even go under load with Payday.

But have you tried running IBT (IntelBurnTest) and see if this driver crash happens to you as well, it will take about 4 minutes or less

Can you try for me and post here, i`m almost crying here just tried everything frown.gif

Thanks

Ok so i ran an IBT and it ran for 7 minutes and completed 10 runs, no crashes, and heat was pretty acceptable on CPU but the GPU's were idle the whole time.

I don't think the payday stuff and IBT crashing are related - I would try to relax, i highly doubt your cards are damaged. There must be something wrong with IBT itself. thumb.gif
