IMO, you have to do what you think looks the best with your case, taste...

But saying that, I personally like the EK supramacy line of CPU blocks, and the heatkiller GPU block for the 7970 is just plain pretty.

Noiseblocker or noctua fans are highly recommended, but I only have experience with the noiseblocker black silent pro fans. NB fans are super quiet, i sit next to 12 of them on my rig, and I can hear my swiftech MCP35X over the fans! lol

Speaking of pumps, I have had zero problems with my MCP35X, and it is PWM controllable which makes it super efficient and still awesomely powerful when you need it.

Thanks for the insight, I originally was looking at Heatkiller for GPU but I am kinda leaning toward EK because the backplates. I see reviews for both and don't seem to be to much of a difference on flow or temps. I been thinking of Noise blocker fans I like the long warranty they give.

Any suggestions on 655 pump top that will work with a 400mm x 60mm res?

Personally, I use ek blocks on my GTX 680s, and my temps are great, i just saw a heatkiller block for a 7970 the other day, and my jaw hit the floor! lol

I have had zero problems with my ek blocks, however, and it would be better to match an ek supremacy cpu block too if you want a matching, one brand build.

My pump is not attached to my res, so I have no idea about pump tops! sorry
