I just got my Imedions today. I look forward to testing them. They come with a case to hold all 8 of them which I'm sure is super cheap to make but it's a nice touch.

How many do you need, will they just be general use batteries or used in a specific device like a cordless phone? Depending on your needs I can make a better recommendation. If they're general use batteries then definitely go LSD (low self-dicharge) but if it's a high drain device that recharges without removal like a cordless phone then LSD batteries are kind of a waste. I've used quite a few different AAAs including Sanyo Eneloops (800mAh), Tenergy Centura (800mAh), Tenergy Premium (1,000mAh), AmazonBasics PreCharged (800mAh), and Rayovac Platinum (750mAh). The only one I wouldn't recommend is the Rayovac Platinum AAAs as one of mine after less than a year of use lowered to 550mAh capacity (no amount of refreshing will restore it).

How many do you think you want to get? Do you have Amazon Prime (otherwise I might give different links, as it's often less of a deal if you have to pay for shipping under $25)?

was probably going to get 8 AA and 4-8 AAA but the amazon basics bulk packs look really good and I wouldn't mind picking them up. I do have to get a charger though. I don't have prime but always keep a list of "filler" items lol. I just thought it would be good to start using rechargeable batteries and I would like to have more laying around as we keep getting hit by hurricanes and blizzards in jersey.

Sorry, I missed this when responding to your other post. I was waiting and waiting for a response from you and didn't notice your second post for a few minutes. That's a decent deal as an 8-pack of Eneloops runs $17.99. I've actually written a review on the AmazonBasics Precharged AAAs if you want to check it out:
http://www.amazon.com/review/R2W3NHILA3FAY7/ref=cm_cr_rdp_perm

If you want a little cheaper the Tenergy Centura AAAs can be had pretty cheap at Battery Junction (get 5% off with coupon code cpf2011). They are $4.25 per 4-pack + shipping. Even with shipping they should be a few bucks cheaper than the AmazonBasics and likely the more you get the cheap they'll be. I've had mine the least amount of time out of all my AAA but haven't had any problems in that time. All 4 of my Centuras exceeded the advertised 800mAh capacity at 860mAh to 921mAh. Out of my 8 AmazonBasics AAAs I got 864mAh to 937mAh tested capacity.

Then check out the Centuras and see what the per battery cost is shipped with different amounts of batteries (4, 8, and 12). Obviously having extra rechargeable batteries isn't really a problem. Either the AmazonBasics or Centuras would be a good buy.
