Battery Junction has pretty good prices and reasonable shipping. They carry all types of Tenergy Premium and Centura batteries. When I ordered I got 12 Tenergy Premium AAAs (for my cordless phones), 4-pack Tenergy Centura AAAs (just to try), and 4 Tenergy Premium AA (just to try and see how close to 2,500mAh they were). The Tenergy Premium are not considered LSD but are better than a lot of normal NiMH batteries for self-discharge (at least from what I've read, haven't owned long enough to test this).

When it comes to a smart charger. If you want the cheapest and simplest the Tenergy TN138 is only $10.98 shipped. It can only charge batteries, it has no discharge or refresh function. If you want more features and testing ability the LaCrosse BC-700 is a great battery analyzer at $29.19 shipped. If you want ultimate versatility and value the BM200 battery analyzer is a steal at $34.61 shipped. With the BM200 the spacing makes it easier to remove batteries and it included two C/D battery adapters if you want to expand your rechargeable battery arsenal to those sizes in the future. All of them can charge batteries, but the last two have extra features (charge, discharge, refresh, and capacity test), and displays that can tell real-time info like voltage, charge/discharge time, mAh put in or taken out, and charge/discharge current.

I don't own it personally but have used a few Tenergy chargers (TN157 for AAA & AA, TN190 for AAA to D, and TN141 for 9V). They are often a really good value for the money. The TN157 has been amazing but is pretty much impossible to find now. For some reason the TN190 seems to emit a bit of a high pitched sound when plugged in but it's much cheaper than any other C/D specific chargers. I think the TN138 would be an excellent start. It's cheaper than a lot of dumb chargers even.

I seem to have forgotten the link earlier so here is the link for the Tenergy Centura AAA 4-pack for $4.25 + shipping from Battery Junction (again 5% off with code cpf2011):

If it's not a smart charger then I wouldn't waste money on it. Dumb chargers are a dime a dozen. One thing to keep in mind if your looking at other smart chargers is the charging rate (generally stated in mAh or milli-amp hours). For example the TN138 charges AAs at 500mAh and AAAs at 250mAh (with four batteries and when there's only two these rates are doubled). The four battery rates are very safe and still charge pretty quick. The two battery rate is a little on the high side but handy in a pinch. The BC700 has charging rates of 200, 500, and 700mAh that can be set. The BM200 has charging rates of 200, 400, 600, 800, and 1000mAh for four batteries and with only two batteries there's extra 1,200 & 1,400mAh rates available.

Deal is back for a third run. They sold out fast in the past so get one before they sell out. Good luck finding a better deal.

I wouldn't call either of them deals. The first one, Tenergy Premium AA 12 pack for $21.99, is a good price as long as you actually need that amount and have Amazon Prime (or have other items to get the free shipping over $25). If you want a custom amount you'd be better served by Battery Junction, as even with shipping the price would be close (after 5% off code cpf2011). Just keep in mind these batteries are not officially Low Self-Discharge and are not all that much cheaper than the Imedions (for the Amazon deal shipped free it's $1.83 Tenergy Premium vs $2.25 Imedion per battery).

The second one, AmazonBasics PreCharged AA 8 pack for $18.88, is not a deal at all. The PowerEx Imedions are superior (in capacity, charge retention, and quality), cost a little less, and come with a free case. So don't even consider those at that price. As a side note you might want to keep an eye for a deal on their similarly priced cousin AmazonBasics PreCharged in white. The black ones are made in China but the white ones are made in Japan (like Eneloops and are likely rebands or clones of some kind, but are better quality than the black ones most likely). Again the Imedions are still a better deal in this case but I just thought I'd add that bit of info in case a deal pops up.

I do own both the AmazonBasics PreCharged (black) and Tenergy Premium AA batteries and like them, so don't take this as me say these are bad batteries. At the right price they could be good deals but those you linked are not. The AmazonBasics I got some 8 packs for $7.62 each from Amazon Warehouse Deals. The Tenergy Premiums I got 4 during a Battery Junction order so I could test them out.
