I love overclocking

To be honest my computer wasnt heinously expensive, getting closer to mid range these days. Though today while looking at tomshardware, i saw something that made me chuckle in the general direction of pre-built systems. Just goes to show what you can do with decent parts and a small margin of know how and alot of help from other people Thanks guys

So do I:

(CPU Multi is 9x cos it lets me push my FSB higher. CPU won't go any further without crazy voltages.) After taking a step too far and doing a vmem pencil mod to my card, my 3DMark scores suck.

You really should consider overclocking your memory. This guide is simple and elegant, I had never thought of that approach (timings first, then find max clock ).

Only 2.65GHz? Push that to 3.0GHz if you have a Big Typhoon or something.

I wish it could. In a sense, I'm disappointed with the CPU, as others can go higher, but then I think "2.65GHz is still a damn fine overclock". It will just do 2.74GHz with 1.55V, if I remember. A 90MHz increase with a 0.1V increase doesnt seem worth it, and would decrease it's lifespan. I don't plan on upgrading for a while.

Well, maybe the GPU, to a cheap G80 when they come out.

I'm at 2.7, but with a crappy divider, cause this memory controller sucks bung.

But ya, I love overclocking.
