bf3 port forwarding - Page 2

Hi The Port Forward Rule is 1 rule 1 PC.. You are NOT going to be able to Play behind the same Network with the same game but different copies.. The ONLY way this would work is if you could change the ports the Game uses like in Warcraft 2...

I don't think many games allow this to be able to change the ports used by the game.. You would have to get another ISP and get it working that way but I doubt that would be worth it..

But I am guessing you want to play on a Server on the internet Together?? IF so Like I aid unless you can change the port in the game it is not going to be possible..

Sometimes UPnP can work but I would imagine if that port gets crossed you will get booted.. IT just don't work that way Sorry for the bad news..

Yes you can ...

You cant forward to the same back end source IP address, but you can have mulipull onnections to the same destination adress. Its handeled by the routers conntracker.

You dont need to set up nat to connect to BF3 from your pc .. again you dont need to touch nat. The reason you may be getting kicked from the server is beasue they are seeing two players come from the same IP address and the server is botting one of you off

just google it

i need help with this issue,

My partner and i, both have lagit copy's of this game, yet when we want to play together punkbuster or something is thinking its hack as were both running off the one ip.

we have set up port forwarding with no luck,

when we use to play mw3 it was set up and never a problem, ever since the release of black ops 2 we have no longer been able to be in the same game no matter what we play. i also know of another couple who have the same issue, yet when it comes to contacting Steam or Origen or the maker of the game about issues like this they don't response at all or even have help issued on there website.

this is something they are aware of but by not listing a contact number or email they don't have to fix it. making them ignorant.

i really need help with this, or i'm going to loose faith in video games all together, the want me to play millions for there games and DLC's yest they cant fix a single issue that's been going on for years

if anyone has had problems like this and has managed to fix it, please tell me how biggrin.gif

Well Probally the ONLY fix for now is to get a 2nd ISP.. Sorry but Punkbuster is strange like that.. Would be nice if they could get a fix for your troubles but im afraid a 2nd IP is the only solution..
