Oh sorry you were being scarcastic?

food for thought

what do you do when you are running out of gpu power? simply turn down settings, or add in another card

what do you do when you hit the vram cap? well, adding in another card isn't going to help

that being said, 780 sli is still amazing value. I just think it's too hard to tell with "next-gen" still far off. Modded skyrim is probably the only example of vram usage when textures aren't scaled down for consoles, and it will easily eat 3Gb (and it's worth it, 4k textures look amazing, really hope they push texture resolutions "next-gen")

I got it, you mean GTX Titan is more future proof than 780 been Titan 6GB not vram limited, but as i can see, at the time when SLI 780 capped 3Gb won't be enough to play next gen games, Titan also will be limited by its raw power, as we can see in models as 680 4GB wich never made a big difference from 2GB versions, not yesterday, not today's games and maybe not future games, BUT Sli 680 2GB still rock many games.

I went from GTX 780 SLi to GTX 780 3-way SLi yesterday. If it's worth it today ? probably not. Is it worth it tomorrow ? I can't tell for sure.
