Would steelseries fix this?

I bought a steel series sensei in towards the end of may and I game heavily. Now I've never had this problem with any mouse but for some reason this happened to mines

As you can see the silver paint came off? And it's coming off around the bottom edges as well. I know the paint shouldn't last only 2 months.

My guess is that Steelseries will put your problem under "normal wear and tear."

No rings what so ever. Nothing sharp comes near the mouse either so idk how this would happen.
