HELLO EVERYONE! im back! after my exams and i've been lurking around finding my final build... as u guys know AMD released the new R7,R8, R9GPU and mantle, BF4 is going to run great with it and im planning to play bf4, what a coincidence ^^..

so Im probably getting an AMD rig..
CPU: AMD FX8350
Mobo: ASUS Sabertooth 990FX R2.0
RAM: Gskill SNIPER 2x4GB DDR3 1600mhz
HDD: WD 1TB Caviar Blue HDD
SSD: Plextor M5S 128GB SSD
ODD: Liteon 24x Sata DVDRW
PSU: Seasonic S12 II 620W PSU
Cooler: Noctua NH-D14 Cooling Fan
Chasis: CM Storm Scout II / anything that has a side mirror? any suggestions?
GPU: Sapphire R9 280X TOXIC edition

The toxic edition have not release yet in my country, have to wait.. heard that it is very limited... but its very very good for the price! compare to the normal R9-280x

Hows my build? any changes/suggestions? TQVM guys!
Plan on OC-ing probably in the future!

EDIT: is my build a silent rig? ( wouldn't want something that sounds like a bulldozer)

nice rig, good thing that you upgraded that 760, i also read good things about the Asus and gigabyte 280x. Personnaly i would have gone with a 240/256 GB ssd, but this will work too. I regret going with a 128GB ssd, but price of the 256GB version was a bit too high for me back then.

Would consider the 200+GB SSD.. pricey tho.
Anyway guys, the cm storm scout 2 i've heard about the LED lights being light-bleeded thru the case.. which i would not want :X, i was thinking bout the phantom 410 as well but i heard the quality of the case is plasticy and it is incredibly hard to remove the casing.. Suggestions?

TQVM and have a nice day!

Build looks excellent! thumb.gif
For the case, you can check out the Fractal Design Arc midi r2, great case at the same price point of the CM storm case, it can even do full watercooling and everything. Also the NZXT Phantom 410 is like 10€ more that the CM storm in my country.
Up to your preference in the end, all of them are great!

If you have not purchased nothing so far, wait a little longer (November) ;

On October 29, we will launch Battlefield 4 on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Also, consider the energy consumption for this AMD rig, then price drop for GTX 780 or rumored GTX 770 Ti.

...

Or these, Nvidia probably gonna change their prices. And if there's a 770ti coming out, then the 770 will probably drop in price. with these you have a G-sync compatible system in the future

7970Ghz Edition should do the job just fine and is now very cheap.
Take the cheapest Gold PSU from Corsair or Seasonic, two excellent brands.
