Try and find this same tablet but under another brand name

Thread Starter
I'm in Thailand and I'm looking to buy an Android tablet and could do with some advice . Ive found what seems a good deal on offer from a well known Thai mobile phone / tablet retailer , the tablet in question is obviously a Chinese model re branded with the Thai retailers own brand name , I have asked the retailer if this tablet can be rooted and their reply was that , if the tablet was rooted it would instantly loose its one year warranty and they offered no more information on the subject of rooting . I would if possible like to root the tablet . I am thinking that the tablet may be all ready marketed and re branded by other retailers around the world and if I can find this same tablet but under a different more well known brand name , then may be there's a chance it could be rooted.

The tablet details

Brand - Jaymart Jpad 733

Specification

1.2G Quad Core Qualcomm 8225Q
GSM 850/900/1800/1900
WCDMA 850/2100 (3G)

Video Record

- Video Telephony

2800mAh

1 year warranty
6 months accessory's warranty

Price

Thai Baht - 4990
US $ - 158
£ - 101

As my budget is limited the price is very appealing along with having a local warranty .

So my question is , whats the best way to try and find this same tablet but under another brand name .

Any comments / advice would be most welcome

Thanks - William

I'm assuming you want to keep the warranty while rooting if I read correctly? I don't know about finding that exact model but I believe any brand name will void the warranty if you root the thing. Options that rooting unlocks are locked for a reason.
