what i see is people ignoring my results , i got asked for proof and i provided it and then it went in all different directions away from the basics.
I shown a 5ghz 8350 beating an i7 4770k
i have not been rude or tried to deviate
i have not gone into the intel part of the forum with my results, i do not want to start a fan war , i stick to amd and neutral and can bring up new proof/evidence to enlighten others if it needs be .
i'm happy with valid benchmark links as proof with minimal chat - that's all that is needed
How many times will this have to be pointed out to you:STOCK
i7-4770k vs OVERCLOCKED (1Ghz over Stock)
FX-8350. You proved absolutely nothing.
Also, congratulations on cherry picking literally one of THE LOWEST i7-4770K benches on Geekbench. AND you picked the Windows 32-bit. Which provides absolutely NO showing of a processor's power.
To put it into perspective to you:
The FX-8350 averages ~13.5-14K points on Geekbench 3. With it peaking into the 16K mark, with one statistical outlier of 20K running Linux.
The i7-4770K averages 18K points in Geekbench 3. And it peaks up into the 22K.
And if you REALLY want 32-Bit Windows:
Peak @ ~16K with no statistical outliers.
Peak @ ~14.5K with no statistical outliers.
And just for kicks, here is the 32-bit version for the i7-3770k:
You provided absolutely no proof of the FX-8350 beating the i7-4770K. You cherry picked incredibly specific validations to try and prove your point. Yet you are dead wrong.
And you want to know the kicker? Most of those Intel validations were at stock. Not OC'd. And from what I can clearly see from these benchmarks, the memory speed makes almost no difference in Geekbench.
And I'm not even going to bother linking other benchmarks to prove my point. Already have with just Geekbench.Edited by Kinaesthetic - 8/20/13 at 6:16pm
