I have and it still doesn't change anything mechanics wise IMO its still a mess of people spraying at 100m+ and still getting kills. I know people dislike BF2s deviated hit system but it assured you couldn't spray long distances and get hits. Something that is very irritating in BF3 regardless of the mode. It was a good thing IMO that you could go semi and own someone at range while they tried to burst you.

Though I did see someone get two or three kills in a row with an M4 on semi which is nice to see. I've also seen a ton of spraying over distance and still getting kills which is ridiculous IMO

The footage showed a possible defend mechanism against knife attacks, yes, it is possible to defend against knife executions now (It was a very fast clip, so I might be wrong)
Also, the movement is much less scripted, as when leaping over small walls and such in BF3, (it was possible to get shots registered, when a enemy was leaping over a wall...

I played Super Mario and it was the best game ever in the whole world. Then I played Yoshis Island and it wasn't anything like Super Mario! From now on I'm only going to play Tetris.

So are you saying there are no more invincibility frames? A la knifing frames in BF3?

After all the patches most of my complaints have been resolved in BF3 except a few. As a player who mostly plays as Recon I can't stand thermal on Tanks. Part of being a good Sniper is the ability of being patient and finding good cover(Stealth). Only to have some Jack ass in a Tank with thermal blow you away. I for one am very excited for BF4. It doesn't look like I'll have to upgrade my gpu this year either.

Counter knifing has been known for a while tongue.gif but it's great to hear that vaulting no longer causes you to be invincible.

I've never noticed that.. I've never had a problem killing someone while they're knifing. In-fact, many-a-times I've saved people by killing someone early in their knifing animation.

I'm still mostly crossing my fingers hoping that they throw away that mess called Battlelog. Just getting into a game felt like trying to pass a law through Congress and was ultimately responsible for my ceasing to play BF3--it was just too much of a hassle to get the game started.

Really? Its very user-friendly and fast getting into games on my rig.

I stand corrected. Hopefully the range/mechanic for stabbing is tweaked further because I usually need to click on the stab button several times to insure a stab execution. I'm not sure how it is for other players. I just want to see it more precise. Maybe connection speed/lag is another factor in it. How about multiple stabbings, creating dual deaths?

O___o

Go to Battelog, go to multiplayer/server browser, choose filters (or quick match if that's your thing), pick server, join. It's really no more than doing it via in-game browser except for that it's much faster in Battelog since you're not dealing with a slow and clunky in-game browser. Heck, you don't even have to close the game out anymore.. just alt-tab (which is surprisingly fast and smooth with BF3) and pick a new server then join.
