How to prepare for a ubuntu build?

Thread Starter
I'm building a new computer this week based off the gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD4H. I'm worried about driver compatibility, but I have no experience with linux so maybe this isn't too much of an issue? What strategy should I take for getting the drivers? I'm thinking of putting ubuntu on my flash drive and then hunting for drivers for the gigabyte MB and putting them on that flash drive too... Should I just try and get the lan driver installed and then the ubuntu app program will find the rest for me? How easy is this going to be? I r scared! But I don't want to use windows any more.

Most drivers are built into the kernel, very few aside from some wireless and video drivers need to be downloaded and when they do, it's done from the repositories and not the manufacturer website.
