Hi all, i'm new in this forum.

I have problem with my Sapphire Radeon HD 6870 card. Yesterday when i surfing on internet, suddenly gpu fan rans on %100 (3800+ RPM) speed. But i can't control it on catalyst control center or any other programs. I shut down PC, and when i start it again before BIOS lodings, gpu fan is continues on %100 not only on Windows, everytime. I tried to change thermal grease but its not solved my problem its still on %100 speed. Anybody can help me?

And i changed my motherboard (MSI H77MA-G43) and my PSU (High Power 750W 80Plus) but problem still continues. Evet tried to format the system, i still have this problem.

Sorry for my English.

I think fan is dead. Anyone knows this fan size? or anyone can suggest me cooling system (only fan) for this card?

I dont think the fan is dead, otherwise it wouldnt run at all. its possible one of the thermal sensors broke, and so the fan ramps up to 100% so the card doesnt die due to overheating. As for where to find a new fan, its prob a 100mm fan so look on ebay would be the only option i can think of

But if thermal sensor broke, why i can't control fan speed on CCC? I tried to unplug fan cable, and after 2 hours i plugged cable to card it worked without loud and then i tried to play MoH Warfighter, degree up to 80-81C with very loud. After i close game, fan stuck again on high speed.
