I own all of the TES games and Witcher games. The Witcher series is way overrated, the support is top notch and they deserve a damn prize for it, but both games are mediocre. The TES games are amazing and are far more enjoyable to play.

Depends what you want. The story and characters in TES games are absolutely laughable compared to the witcher series.
Oh and your opinion aint fact, just saying.

witcher's story and characters aren't laughable as well? at least in es, the story is pretty irrelevant to the actual game

I'll tell ya im not boycotting anything. I am simply not going to buy it and I am going to tell my friends not to buy it and tell them why.

I laugh at everyone who got mad at EA for charging 100 bucks with premium for BF3.. you realize that's only 3 months of this game ? 100 bucks and you'll be out... hope you get your hours in the first few months HAHHAHHAA

Gameplay of the Witcher is boring, clunky, and a chore, Gameplay of TES is fun and fluid. The story of Witcher isn't that good either. At least TES is more fleshed out and has more lore.

Yea I bought Witcher because I heard amazing things everywhere. I played the game and it just looks unbelievable, I mean daaaamnnn, is that a beautiful game. But the gameplay was just ehh with a little bit of ugh mixed in. Combat was kind of cool in the beginning but then felt like a repetitive task and not as rewarding. Skyrim, although the combat still has a ways to go in improvement, is much more fun and more rewarding (especially with mods like elemental effects aka use fire spell=people burn to death|Ice spell=people turn to icicles). It also has more lore and is incredibly interesting, especially if you like mythology.

I will have to say that Witcher 2 did not feel dumbed down like TES franchise is starting to be. It was actually challenging. Skyrim on the other hand is somewhat challenging in the beginning (but not really), but as soon as you level up a bit and get some decent gear it's childs play and is super easy (and this is on master diff). But thank Bejesus for mods as there are alot of good mods out there that make the game actually challenging. I love how the devs for the Witcher series conduct themselves, they are a beacon of light in this effed up anti-consumer industry, where the people getting rammed keep asking "May I have another one Sir!". But their game I sadly, did not enjoy. And I really wanted to.

Well in all honestly it just sounds like MMOs aren't for you in general, weather it be f2p or p2p.

No, I like MMOs, I'm just not a fan of spending $60 on the game and another $100 on monthly fees in order to finish them.

I've spent a significant amount of time in Guild Wars, Secret World, Rift, Defiance, Path of Exile (doesn't really count though), Vindictus, and a few others. I'm just really not keen on throwing hundreds of dollars a year in order to keep playing the same game. I'd rather spend that money on other games and see new things, but I would have purchased this at $60 any day of the week with no subscription, or at $40 with a $5 monthly subscription.

I would amend this statement to say, "current MMOs aren't for you." I would LOVE to see more MMO's that realize they don't need to be infinite playtime, treadmill cash machines. I would love a 200 hour game I could play with a bunch of friends and strangers.

MMO only has to be massive, multiplayer, and online. And massive is subjective. It DOES NOT mean devote your life to one character, pay a monthly fee, and forever raid for gear based on dice rolls after doing 1000 hours OF fetch quests.

I say this to remind gamers that MMO doesn't mean WoW clone. It could be all kinds of creative things as long as a lot of people play at one time.
