Gotta agree with you. I'd take a gander at it being the low end section of cards. Right now, there isn't anything under $250 in the 700 series of cards. So having performance increases in terms of lower end cards would be the best bet. And you have to consider that most people, other than OCN, don't actually spend a ridiculous amount of money on high end cards like we on OCN tend to do. The low/mid-range sells the best.
Then again, I could be wrong and it could be a dual GTX 780 card. Which would be kinda neat.

The HD 7950 doesn't even touch the GTX 770, especially now that the GTX 770 allows for unlocked voltages through MSI Afterburner. It would take a very highly OC'd HD 7950 to even compete with the GTX 770. So whatever video you saw is quite wrong.
