There are many examples of the case affecting both sides if you google 'lol hud flickering'. So dont spin things like you normally do.

You can play that game at 30fps on intel's iGPU, or 60fps on GT430, both on max setting at 1080p.

AMD goes fine?

Sometimes I wonder if people are aware of basic realities of economics. AMD has horrible finances, NVIDIA does well.

Economics 101.

Company revenue reliance on Discrete GPU's:

Nvidia 70%
AMD 10%

Possible Options for expansion into growing none x86 and SoC x86 markets:

AMD: upto 100% availability.
Nvidia: Complete dependance on ARM, Intel and AMD IP.

Conclusion: Nvidia have an unhealthy dependance on a dying market with its options for expedition dependent on its rivals good will.

The irony here is AMD will make more money from its Game Console IP than its Discrete GPU's, thanks in part to Nvidia. Game Console will be PC gaming's down full.

If anyone is going to kill anyone, its not going to be Nvidia killing AMD.

That argument wouldn't be funny if AMD did well in other venues.

AMD do well in other revenues, they have healthy profits from their various businesses and IP every single quater.

The balance sheet looks bad at the moment because AMD are paying down their debts with the aim of becoming debt free, to put that into context AMD have paid off $4bn of a $6bn debt in 18 Months with about $3bn remaining in cash savings.

They now have more cash than they do debt and are on track to make a profit by Q3 this year despite continuing to pay down the remaining debt.

Yes, the theory looks good but as you just described, the numbers can't lie.

I suspect NVIDIA rejected a low price for consoles to not get the job.

Nvidia can't offer what AMD can, the complete package. SoC x86 CPU and GPU.

Game Consoles are an example of where Nvidia lost out because they don't have the IP and the technology.

Whats more its that IP and technology that is,- and will take over PC's, why do you think Intel are throwing vast resources at catching up with AMD in this sector?

Nvidia have no way in.

Even in the hypothetical scenario that were true - no sources ever proved that NVIDIA "lost" in the deal, you don't even know what the deal is with consoles, they may buy for scraps - then, if that were true as I was saying, why do you keep supporting AMD? x86 is bad as it is with the duopoly of AMD and Intel. If anything, we should have less IP restrictions. Some Capitalists claim it's good for the economy but even them admit that a duopoly or a monopoly never helps a market in whole.

In fact I'm almost certain they buy console GPUs for scraps. It's a good promotion to have them in consoles advertised everywhere and in a bad financial position you may beg for that bad deal. NVIDIA may have weighted their options and said, nope, keep the "benefit" of having 0 profit (or a loss) and just a chance for a promotion (which isn't guaranteed if your console fails).

VIA and various others got x86 licensed to them but yes Motorola had a superior arch.
