How can I read this disk?

Thread Starter
Hi! My sister brought home a disk she made in a DVD cam corder. The problem is that it burned from the middle out, not from the beginning.

That makes it so my computer and DVD player recognize it as a blank disk.

So what can I do? Anything?

Take it to a Local Camcorder shope or Photo shop as they usually have good utilities for sorting this..Other than that im not too sure.

Have sis bring the camcorder over and plug it in with the disc in it. You should be able to copy it to the hdd and view it then.

Discs always burn from the middle out. Probably its in a strange format. Have tried connecting your camera to your PC via firwire and using the camcorder as a drive to read the disk?

Well it isn't her camcorder, her friend let her borrow it to take videos, so we don't have the camcorder in hand

Not to sound mean, but I just stated that I couldn't have access to the camera.
