Does increasing frequency without voltage increase temps - Page 2

Thread Starter
So basically I want to run my 3570k on as low a voltage as I can, while still achieving maximum overclock. I know a lot of you guys get a lot of experience with certain processors. Is there a well known place to start with that particular processor? Can I start with lowering the voltage below stock?

The best place you can start is to list your specs for everyone to know what you are working with. Ivy is not so familiar to me and I will be starting here tomorrow as soon as my 3770k comes in. Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show) Read it, Learn it, and Breathe it. I am trying to do the same thing now myself. Reason why is that way I can be as knowledgeable about the subject as can be. Can't put to practice till my chip gets here. Reason why I say state the specs is because there are some guides specific to the mobo. thumb.gif
