I am a reseller but unless it needs to be super cheap i rather sell normal Hi-Fi audio sets like bookshelves + amp or active monitors.
I like active studio monitors with a good DAC the most myself, sounds excellent and take's up little space but you need a thick wallet though...
Advantage with studio monitors is that after a curtain (high) price point they give alot more value then fancy high end hifi speakers where you have to pay money for looks and brand name to.
I heard 2 nice "PC" sets of Teufel before though but they are probably above the OP's budget and i think they are hard to get in the US.
