I ordered Krait 2013 - ambidextrous design, small size, low weight and good DA 2013 sensor. I think it's better than Abyssus with left button build-in fail and jitter, I hope. )

Some people experience heavy smoothing on the Krait as on the DA 4G. Others never feel it. It seems to be something that you notice if you a) are really picky or b) specifically look for flaws. Never tried it myself, so can't judge that.

I see pixel-to-pixel type smoothing in ADNS3988, but I don't notice any increase in floatiness, hence can't describe it as heavy or as a dealbraker. Maybe it induces more input lag, but I think I need a 120hz monitor to tell the difference between my DA2013 and, say, WMO.
