Also if you can run 3dmark and heaven just fine somewhere else is the problem.

If you want follow the guide on my sig rig for proper driver install.

Excuse me. If you had spent $640 bucks (or in your case, euros) on something that didn't work, you'd be equally as miffed as I was at the time. It was the worst experience I've had (I don't sugar coat it, just like you don't sugar coat some things you write on this forum). I've used X-fire before, and I never had this much trouble with it.

And like I said, other people might not have this problem. I already understand that. But I did have this problem.

And yes, I did full manual installs/uninstalls. Your guide in your sig rig is a great resource. Thank you for it. But unfortunately, none of that helped me.

Anyhow, this issue is pretty much settled since they've been returned, so no reason to continue this on. Thanks for trying to help, but its a done deal.

And yes. I had a Xfire 7970 setup. No reason to do low blows:

Proof enough for you? rolleyes.gif. Unfortunately for you, I don't lie. Currently waiting for the return to arrive to them and process the return amount.

Anyhow, I hope people don't have the problems that I had with this setup.
How did you manage to get out of the restocking fee? I bought a second 7950 and I cannot for the life of me, figure out why my system completely crashes, requiring a hard reset.

Basically had a nice long chat with a customer support agent who sympathized with my problem and waived the restocking fee. They are even going to overlook the fact that I accidentally used one of the Never Settle bundle codes, which they normally would subtract from the refund cost. I just basically managed to get an awesome Cs rep. YMMV though.
