Or a t fitting and a twist valve.
QDCs are expensive, have poor finish that doesn't resist many couplings/uncouplings and they are restrictive.
Did you read the post? If you're unplugging your compressions and blowing down them as the primary way to get the water out (and in the case of my loop, blowing will not help anything, it's far too complex) then you've done a terrible job at building your loop. I offered blowing into the loop as a backup measure if you can't get the pump working to pull the water out of the loop, but it's still unadviseable. Plus, modern QDC's like the QD3 and QD4 series are extremely well-made and don't suffer any of the problem you've mentioned if you take care of them. If you actually tried the method you're professing is better than my own then you'd know how it doesn't really work. Don't respond in a thread to which you have nothing to offer.
Your ignorance is amazing.
The method i use has been around since year zero, its simplest way of draining. I HAVE tried your method (like its some new way of doing things.....
),I ditched it for the reasons posted.
Perhaps its your loop thats poorly designed.....I certainly have no issues and my loop is more complicated than yours.
If this is such a sure fire way of doing it then surely pictures of yours in your loop should of been posted rather than crayon pics?
On a side note, who are you to say who can post in a public forum?
Your attitude needs serious adjustment.
