Asus Z87I Deluxe availability (C2 in US, C1/C2 in Europe)

Hello,

I have two quick questions:
(1) Do you happen to have if any of the stores in the US ships Asus Z87i-Deluxe in C2 version? (I know that the first batch was C1, but C2 was supposed to follow closely)
(2) Does anyone happen to know when Asus Z87i-Deluxe is supposed to hit Europe (any country)?

I have looked through dozens of websites and, unfortunately, I couldn't find any definitive answer...

Thank you for help!

Has anyone heard any updates? I know there are plenty of Z87i-Deluxe users among us! Please do not hide and share your experiences. :-).

If you have this board, it would be great if you could post whether you have C2 or C1 version. CPU-Z will tell you that (see Southbridge Rev. on Mainboard tab). The rumour also has it that Part Numbers for Asus boards in C2 version end with "5".

Also - is there anybody here based in Europe who has Z87i-Deluxe ? Where did you buy it?

Thank you very much for your help!

Pretty sure the board is still C2, you are better off contacting Asus to find out more information.
The board is for sale here in the UK: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-580-AS

I believe they are the same ITX board. It use to be called Deluxe like the Asus z77 ITX board but was then renamed to Pro.

They are not. For instance, Deluxe version has 802.11ac wifi, whereas Pro utilizes the older 802.11n.

I wish they could. Asus said that C2 boards have been produced and shipped, annoyingly without any difference in SN or labelling. The retailers (e.g. newegg) say that they cannot check the inventories as they are in off-site location, shipped directly from distributors - so they are clueless about the chipset used.

Thus, the customers seem to be the only people who actually know what exactly is currently sold... Alas, without any of of you guys saying what you have actually received (and when), I will not know what stepping is currently sold frown.gif. I am prone to assume that the biggest retailers should have the biggest turnover, thus the most recently produced boards, but... it would be great to hear some confirmation.

Cheers once again for your help,
Theriel

I guess it depends where you get them, I have a pro and it's exactly the same as the Deluxe as there is no deluxe for the UK, just the Pro.

https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Z87IPRO/

Tho the Deluxe has AC it's not full AC according to their site.
