Best nvidia solution to drive 6 displays?

Thread Starter
I am working on a workstation for industrial process control and I have been asked to make it capable of driving 6 displays initially , with the possibility of adding 6 more later on.

The basic plan is to have 4 instances of excel running with spreadsheets that automatically update to show equipment status being viewed on 4 of the monitors with the other 2 showing the process control program(s).

Any recommendations on how best to accomplish this?
Any single card solutions on the nvidia side that are capable of doing this?

Related info:

The motherboard I am planning on using has onboard video( hdmi, vga, dvi outputs) as well as 2 PCI-E slots.
PSU is a seasonic X series gold 750 watt unit.

40 inch samsungs are most likely what we will use , each having hdmi and vga inputs.

Thanks in advance for any and all replies smile.gif

If all you will be doing is excel etc (not demanding), then i would suggest going with a Nvidia NVS, http://www.nvidia.com/object/nvs-product-overview.html#

Other than that i don't think you would be able to get 6 displays with one nvidia card.
The Radeon 7990 supports 6 displays native.

Thank you for the suggestion smile.gif

Do you know if i could use multiple NV 510s and display unique excel spread sheets on each output (each with a new instance of excel being opened)?

Im pretty sure you can have multiple NVS cards in one system but as im not an expert, i cant guarantee it. Best solution is to contact Nvidia directly. LINK HERE
