Probably not the first sign that she has control issues

It really is a cultural thing though.

I dated a Latin girl when I was a kid, 18 or so. She was wonderful and we'd be going out for a month.

So finally, she decides to introduce me to her family with a nice little dinner at her place. smile.gif

I walk into that 3 story house and I'm immediately greeted by her MASSIVE 250 pound brother on one side, her 2 sisters on the other, mama herself dead center, and countless cousins/uncles everywhere else.

They literally had me surrounded.
Each one of those men squeezed my 110 pound shoulders like it was going out of style. And told me with cold eyes not to mess this up. wha-smiley.png

Easily one of the most protective and tight knit families I've ever seen.

And then there is the integrity, and ethics of the modern world, in which, such tracking methods are discouraged for the public interest in means of, one, how easily such applications can be exploited, and two, come into conflict with basic human rights. Culturally aside, such applications should only be used for non-domestic legal applications regardless of one's culture. The modern world should not go backwards and start hindering sociological progression with pointless applications like this crap. Like other's have said, if you have a trust issue with your significant other, there are much more appropriate methods of dealing with such issues; one being relationship counselling and, two, the other surrounding a domestic means of the two individuals, such as, ending the relationship.

Boyfriend Tracker is by no means the only app that allows partners to monitor each other's communications. Similar apps are marketed for smartphone users in other countries, including Europe and the US.
For example, "Spy your Love" allows partners to monitor each other's mobile activity, including phone calls, texts and Facebook messages. However, in this case the monitoring is mutual and consensual, whereas Boyfriend Tracker is covert.

And in other words, no, those two applications are not the same. One being mutual and consensual is dramatically different then being covert. This argument is just laughable!!

Other applications that have any resemblance to tracking, in any means, should be discouraged on the market. I support removing all applications that resemble such. If you want to monitor your children, your ISP/Network Provider can easily obtain that information for you in cases where one's activity will jeopardize one's well being. In any case, you are legally responsible for your children.

This.

I'm glad it was banned. It IS basically stalking/invasion of privacy/extortion. And yes, if I wasn't married and some woman asked me to install this app, I would giver her her "walking papers" right then and there.

If you were married, and assuming it is your wife/husband that is asking you to do it, you'd consider doing it or even do it? Personally, if my wife was unstable enough to demand this information from me, I'd be visiting my lawyer. As a modification/misquote: "Don't date crazy". I'm sure you can figure out what the original statement was, if you really want.

I don't consider 4% to be "far far far far far more".

[Womens Health] Who Cheats More: Women or Men?
Quote:
The results: 19 percent of women admitted to straying outside their relationship—that’s up 5 percentage points from the National Science Foundation’s General Social Survey in 2010. Men aren’t much better: 23 percent of them reported cheating, up 4 percent since 2010.

[Prevention] Do men really cheat on their spouses more than women do, or do they just get caught more often?
Quote:
Historically, men have reported being unfaithful twice as often as women, according to Robin Milhausen, PhD, professor of family relations at the University of Guelph in Ontario. "But today, the genders are almost equally unfaithful—23% for men and 19% for women."

Prevention and Women's Health cater to the female perspective, so I'd take those statistics with as much salt as you require for that bitter pill. That said, I cannot find any infidelity or adultery statistics that appear to differ greatly (roughly even, but usually more often a bit more men than women). The take away from that is not "How much does each sex cheat?" but "How honest is each sex regarding how often they cheat?". And really now, who is going to be honest about something that society views so negatively? It'd be like trying to find statistical data on which sex kills more kittens, or the like.

Namorado = Boyfriend, Namorada = Girlfriend. I don't think there is an exact translation for "namorados", but partner is the closest one. The word lover is more often used to refer to someone in an affair outside of the "official" relationship (cheating)

I'd suggest all men to tell their girlfriends to get it. It'll get them off your back! After all, if you're not doing anything suspicious, why would you be worried? wink.gifwink.gifwink.gifwink.gifwink.gif

On the second thought, NSA should do this too!!!

Yeah, but if they did, they'd have to add another server farm just to monitor Bill Clinton, Anthony Weiner, Gary Condit, and Larry Craig. wink.gif
