Keeping my RAID Array and changing versions of Windows

Thread Starter
Hello friends.

Currently I am running Windows Server 2012...I am thinking of switching OS's to Windows 7...Nevermind why...

My question is that I currently am running a RAID 5 setup via the windows server 2012 software.

My OS is installed on a completly separate drive than my RAID array of course....Is there anything that I need to do to the RAID set-up before switching OS's.

Or can I simply format my OS drive and install Win 7 and pull up my RAID array...How would one go about doing this??

Thank in Advance!!!!!!

Step one for everything: Backup.

Btw, have you tied reinstalling server 2012 and then importing the parity space again?
