New I7 3930K / 4930K Will Thermalright Ultra 120- Extreme Suffice? - Page 4

I'd say it's about the performance of a £35 cooler. Better than a True Spirit 120, but not top of the range. Good enough anyway.

Edit.
I'm not sure you need a new mount. Your 1366 mount is same spacing as 2011, so I would assume only the 2011 barrel stud kit would be needed. I could be wrong as I don't have a 2011 to try it on. If you are not in a big rush, let me know and I will find out for sure.

As a comparison here is a graph of an Ultra 120 CU .. same basic cooler with copper fins instead of aluminum compared to NH-D14 an dTRUE Spirit 140 Power

If you could find out for sure if the stud kit is only needed to use the U120 that would be great!

Thanks,
