Anyone has their desktops facing backwards instead of front?

I don't really use the dvd case that much, if at all, and it's just more convenient to access all the ports in the back for me instead of the few usb ports and jacks on the front of the case.

yea, it doesn't look aesthetically nice doing this, but it's more practical for me.

Huh. Well whatever floats your boat! I can't do that because my Ethernet cable only JUST reaches my rig as it is.

I usually will either angle it, put it sideways, or just regularly off to the side, but I have never really considered backwards. I wouldn't want all of the cables getting in the way like that. Just put some front bay usb ports on the front. It would be more aesthetically pleasing that way. Really, the only time you would need to regularly access the back would be usb or maybe esata.

i have like 5 usb devices plugged into the back plus the speaker wires, and cabling isn't really a problem for me really, i'm not that into aesthetics. I constantly plug in USB sticks often for my video project for an internship, and the way my case is set up, it's easier to just plug in into the back than reach over the front of my Cooler master Storm Scout 2. I do keep mine on the table rather than the floor so i don't hunch down to floor all the time.

Same case with my mini-itx Bitfenix prodigy as well, there's NO front usb ports on it, making it useless front-facing.

hmmm.... is there ever even a backward-facing dvd drive?
