FX-8150 Overclock In Windows 8

So I am having low FPS on World of Warcraft with my new 7970 (around 30 sometimes lower) and the drivers and everything are working fine and other games work just fine, just like the 7970 should perform. But I heard that WoW has issues with cpu's sometimes and that I should overclock mine to 4.5GHz and I might get better FPS. The issue is that I put Windows 8 on my computer because I was having a ton of driver issues with my 7970, and now that I have Windows 8 AMD overdrive won't work on here. I checked the site and it said for Windows 7/Vista/XP. Is there any other good CPU OC utility that I can use, I have been searching for one and have yet to find a good one.

It's better to overclock from the computer's BIOS. You also need decent cooling to overclock to that level.

As above, do it in the BIOS.

But to be getting 4.5+ Ghz you will need some good cooling.

Alright I suppose that's the best way. And yeah I will have liquid cooling before I do that haha. What do you think I could hit with a stock cooler? Last I tried I hit 4.2 an anything after that was unstable. so maybe I will try 4.1 for now and add more later. also do you think it would help much in wow?
