Anyone tried this peltier setup?

Looking for some opinions as I'm thinking about buying it. It's not extreme, by any measure, but it's better than water and it's not too expensive.

Any and all opinions, please!

honestly i wouldnt get that thing, its way to much for what it does, im pretty suure that the guys here can guide you toward a tech setup for less money that will get you sub ambient temps, i looked at those temps and a good water cooling setup could easily net you those temps and cool your gpu all for about $200,

the only thing is youll have to assemble it yourself so i dont know how much you wanna play with the setup

IMO i wouldnt waste my money on it unless you got it to blow and you want a quick easy setup and not very good performance for the price

Thing is I don't want to have to waterproof/insulate my board. As this keeps it above ambient there will be no condensation - that's the whole beauty of it

How much will that affect the cooling, if only looking to get it down to the same temp as the air around it? I've never tried peltier cooling before, but this just seemed like a good starting point...

You probably found this already but in case you hadn't this place loved that cooler.

I think it sounds badass. I would also do what they did and put a 120mm fan on there. The resulting temps from this review are LOW. If you can afford it and want minimal hassle it sounds like a good way to go to me.

Wow, that was a great review! The problem now is that I've seen a few reviews from each standpoint, but I kind of believe those who say it isn't good enough are trying to compare it to higher end solutions...Just keeping my E6600 at ambient would be cool And mounting a mist 120mm fan would silence it pretty good...
