AIO S80DP water cooler

i was wondering if anyone had any experience with these? i set out on a mission the other day, to OC my amd phenom II x4 970 BE. quickly ran into problems. was able to get it to 4G but was never able to get it stable past stock 3.5G. finally after pulling lots of hair, i found that my cpu temps were horrible. on Stock settings in bios and running prime95 my temps would quickly get to about 80c. idle in the low to mid 50s. i have an AIO liquid cooler and im not sure if they just suck that bad or if there is an issue. one thing i noticed is that no matter how hot it got, the fan speed never increased. only the system fans would speed up. im not currently in a position to get the res, pump and such to do it right which is why i have this cooler...figured it would get me by until i could slowly get one piece at a time. thank you for any help you may have to offer.

is my cooler just bad or is it just junk?
anyone have any thoughts on BigWater 760 Plus Dual Drive Bay Liquid Cooling System ? is it worth $140? money is very tight this month and i need to get this cooling under control.
or would this be a better option Kraken X60 Ultra Performance Liquid CPU Cooler
thanks in advance

i know i do want to do a custom loop eventually but it certainly isnt in the budget at the moment so i will need something that will do the job for now. any suggestions maybe on a decent setup that would cost around $150?
