Hi all,
I would like some input on these two monitors.

Asus, no question. I've had both and the Acer had terrible backlight bleeding. Plus the Asus gives you the option to run the lightboost hack.

Get ASUS or BENQ, as I've heard better things with those. There's also less input lag on them too.

Also, the ASUS monitor has LightBoost if you optionally want to enable that with ToastyX Strobelight. Google "lightboost" or see the popular LightBoost thread here on OCN.

ASUS and BENQ.

The XL2420T has been replaced by the XL2420TE, so the old XL2420T inventory is being cleared. But that's a good price. The XL2420T has slightly better color than VG248QE (after calibration) However, the VG248QE does have cleaner LightBoost motion if you enable that. (See 60Hz vs 120Hz vs LightBoost for a comparison).
