This seems a little more reasonable to me, but I may back off to 1254 or maybe even 1241 so I can decrease the vcore to the lower side of 1.250v. Again thanks for the advice and research in the this stuff gang, this is what makes OCN the best site around for hardware tinkerers! And as always I take full responsibility and accept all consequences of my overclocking as everyone else should as well. I would hate it if we as a community felt the need to keep these type of overvolting mods a secret for fear of people using them irresponsibly and frying their cards. Play safe folks!

I believe everyone here is mature enough to know the consequences of their actions! thumb.gif
You bet OCN IS THE BEST SITE AROUND! biggrin.gif
And got the best guys around too! thumb.gif
But as all good things, it attracts bad scum too but we have good Mods and they know how to deal with them! wink.gif
Everything i know from all the experience and all the knowledge i got through several degrees in college resumes to one thing!
Help out people! biggrin.gif
Its what i fell better doing in life! smile.gif

Cheers

Are you using double or single precision?

Cheers

Ah, cool.  I'll probably put the GPU under h20 if I keep it, then I'll feel a bit better still, and crank up the voltage a bit more probably.  (Plus I really like that aquacomputer kryographics block)

I'm not sure what double or single precision is, sorry.

This is precision... It's a setting in the NVCP for number crunching.

Hm, I don't see that setting.  Maybe I'm looking in the wrong area, is that under 'Manage 3d Settings'?  Mine goes CUDA-GPUs then to Maximum pre-rendered frames.

You have a Titan or 780? 780 doesn't have double precision, just FYI incase.

Ah, that'd be it, I just have a 780.

Should have asked first if you had a titan or a 780! smile.gif

I'm sure this has been answered already but once the voltage is unlocked is the power dynamic like normal or does it stay at the unlocked voltage its set to at all times?

The voltage is a constant but your clock speeds still ramp down in 2D. Afaik there is nothing that can be done about the voltage unless I make a program that detects full screen 3D apps and changes profiles in AB based on predetermined settings by the user.

I might do it at some point but right now I only have enough time to monitor some threads and update my existing tool.

Guys I just ordered a Palit 780 Jetstream. Are the Skyn3t's bios compatible with it?
