Most of these people pushing 1.325 are doing it under water though.

At least, that was my impression. I would love to know the actual number of people using this crack now.

It's the best crack i eva had lachen.gif

I know that doesn't relate to the VRM's but my thinking is i've still got a little headroom left to take things further. Any recommendations for ballpark 'safe' volt/pwr? I'll need to read through every post in this thread before i commit.

THIS! ^ ^

Your cards can handle the amperage yes! until the specified 60A@93% efficiency per phase!
Your cards can´t handle the heat on air no! 40A alone can generate enough heat to get the phases off the specified operating temperature with the air cooler only go those voltages on water!

Example for 1,3v:

(320A / 8 Phases = 40A each phase) DC-DC =» I(A) * V(V) = P(W) =» 320A x 1,3v = 416W A lot of heat to dissipate right? tongue.gif

Heat is your enemy! Not voltage! Heat on the long run produces material fatigue (thermal expansion along with high voltage) until one day something burns or gives in...
On air you shouldn´t go over 1,22v with LLC enabled (1.220v + 0.025v = 1.245v) and that is even with fan at 100%!

As usual my 2 cents!

Cheers

Ed

P.S. Remember that no air cooler is designed with vrm´s in mind, it´s more focused on the core! None gives you what you can get with a good water block!

hell, i'm only comfy doing 1.255 0% LLC... Which is what it takes to get ~1202 stable in AAA engine games.

Is there any tools out there to increase memory voltage on the titan?

Nope, unfortunately there isn't a way to communicate voltage to the buck controller for memory. I've tried loads of different things but in the end the only way is to hard mod your card :/

Alright, Thank you very much Zawarudo smile.gif

Sorry about this but..............

I've only just joined the TITAN party from 780 Classy ocking and cannot get past the "VEN.......cfg file. I get the 41 result from "ri3,20,99 input but no "settings" in the "VEN.....cfg" file. I've closed and reopened Afterburner as required but the "VEN" files do not ever have any settings tags in them. Also my "Notepad" app has nowhere to select "Run as Administrator". (Windows7 64)

Very confused.

I think I kill my Palit. mad.gif

I was going to do a Valley run at 1385@1.27V and the pc shutdown, restarted, some continuing beeps and the GPU is dead. No light, no fan starts, nothing..... ****

Is there any way to revive it or is it completely gone??

I'm using the onboard now. frown.gif

Em, that doesn't sound good at all. try to GPU in another PC, also check you haven't damaged your PSU. I have the same PSU and mine shuts down when my clocks are too high.
